Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BitcoinChurchAsia ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the website bitcoinchurchasia.com (the "Site") and the BitcoinChurchAsia Upload tool (the "Tool"), which prepares and publishes educational Bitcoin-safety videos to our own TikTok account. We are an independent Bitcoin education publisher focused on Asian audiences.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
BitcoinChurchAsia is the operator of the Site and the Tool. For any privacy request or question, contact us at [email protected]. You can also reach us via the About page.
2. Information we collect on the Site
- Usage data (analytics): We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first service, to understand aggregate traffic (page views, country, referrer). It does not fingerprint you or build a profile across sites.
- Advertising: We display ads via Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can control ad personalization at myadchoices.com and Google account settings.
- Local storage: Some tools (e.g. calculators, saved preferences, cookie-consent choices) store small values in your browser. These stay on your device.
- We do not run user accounts on the Site and do not ask visitors to register or submit personal information to read our content.
3. The BitcoinChurchAsia Upload tool and the TikTok API
The Tool is an internal utility we use to publish our own educational videos to our own TikTok account. When we authorize the Tool:
- We use TikTok's official OAuth flow. The authorization returns an access token that lets the Tool act on our own account only (for example, content-posting scopes to upload our videos).
- Access and refresh tokens are stored securely and used solely to publish our content. We do not share, sell, or transfer these tokens.
- The Tool does not collect, request, or store personal data of TikTok users, viewers, followers, or any third party. It does not read other users' data.
- Our use of information received from TikTok APIs adheres to the TikTok Developer Terms and TikTok's policies, including any limits on use and retention.
- You can revoke the Tool's access at any time from your TikTok account's app settings; doing so stops all further access.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses: strictly necessary storage (to remember your cookie-consent choice and basic preferences) and advertising cookies set by Google AdSense and its partners. Our analytics provider (Cloudflare) is cookieless. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work as intended.
5. Affiliate links
Some links to exchanges, wallets, and services are affiliate links. If you sign up through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link may take you to a third-party site with its own privacy practices, which we do not control. Affiliate relationships never change our editorial analysis.
6. How we use information
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and the Tool.
- To measure aggregate traffic and content performance.
- To display and measure advertising.
- To publish our own educational videos to our own social accounts.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use TikTok API data for advertising or profiling.
7. Third-party services
We rely on: Cloudflare (hosting, security, analytics), Google AdSense (advertising), and the TikTok API (publishing our own videos). Each has its own privacy policy: Cloudflare, Google, TikTok.
8. Data retention
Aggregate analytics are retained for a limited period by our provider. TikTok API tokens are retained only while the Tool is authorized and are deleted when access is revoked. We do not maintain a database of Site visitors' personal information.
9. International users
The Site serves a global, Asia-focused audience. Data may be processed in countries other than yours by our service providers, subject to their safeguards.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR in the EU), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or object to processing. Because we hold very little personal data about visitors, most requests concern ad personalization (managed through Google) or contacting us directly at [email protected].
11. Children
The Site and Tool are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
